Refund and Returns Policy UK for SL Printing

SL Printing produces custom printed products including stickers, banners, decals, wall stickers, motorbike stickers, car stickers, domed gel badges and print and cut items. Many of these products are made to order, personalised or produced according to customer specifications.

Because custom printed items cannot usually be resold, different return rules apply depending on whether the product is personalised, faulty, incorrect or a standard non-custom item.

Custom Printed Products

Most products supplied by SL Printing are custom-made. This includes items printed with your artwork, logo, size, colour, wording, image, design or specific production requirements.

Custom printed products are non-refundable unless they are faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrect due to an error made by SL Printing.

We cannot offer refunds for custom products where:

  • The customer supplied incorrect artwork
  • The customer chose the wrong size
  • The customer changed their mind after production
  • The design contains spelling or layout mistakes supplied by the customer
  • The product was applied incorrectly
  • The item was damaged after delivery

Standard Non-Custom Products

If you purchase a standard product that has not been customised, personalised or made to order, you may be able to return it in line with UK consumer rules.

To request a return for a standard non-custom product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, undamaged and returned in its original condition.

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect due to our error.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact SL Printing as soon as possible. We will review the issue and offer a suitable solution where appropriate.

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

  • A replacement
  • A reprint
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund

We may ask for clear photos of the item, packaging and any visible issue before confirming the next step.

Artwork Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking artwork before submitting an order. This includes spelling, layout, image quality, colours, measurements and design accuracy.

SL Printing may check files before production, but this does not replace the customer’s responsibility to provide correct artwork. We are not responsible for mistakes contained in files supplied by the customer.

Colour and Print Variation

Printed colours may vary slightly from what appears on screen. This can happen because screens, devices, lighting and materials display colour differently.

We use professional print equipment, original inks and quality materials, but exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless agreed in advance as part of a specific colour matching service.

Sticker and Decal Application

SL Printing is not responsible for problems caused during installation or application of stickers, decals or vinyl graphics.

Application issues may include bubbles, creases, peeling, incorrect positioning, surface contamination or damage caused during installation. Please make sure the surface is clean, dry and suitable before applying any sticker or decal.

Damaged During Delivery

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the product and packaging.

Most orders are sent using tracked delivery services. If a parcel is damaged in transit, we will review the case and advise the best solution.

How to Request a Return or Refund
